BAGIM:
Boston Area Group for Informatics and Modeling

BAGIM is a discussion and networking group for those who focus on marrying science and technology to enable discovery. We welcome modelers and informatics scientists from industry, along with researchers from academia, including graduate students.

BAGIM meetings will focus on both the technical and organizational aspects centered on how modelers and informatics scientists support and facilitate drug discovery. The discussions will allow members to share information and benefit from the experience of others.

BAGIM uses an open discussion format for its meetings. Each meeting begins with an informal gathering time followed by the evening meal. A short presentation designed to stimulate discussion and debate is given by the featured speaker. A period of open discussion concludes the meeting. An abstract for each presentation is published in advance along with biographical information about the presenter. Meetings are open to modelers and informatics scientists from industry, along with researchers from academia, including graduate students.

With the exception of special events, refreshments are provided by the host site at no charge. An RSVP is requested for those who wish to attend in furtherance of the necessary arrangments for admittance to the host site.
